Average review: 4.5/5.0 (3 reviews) Roland Belmares struck gold on this stellar new release from Centaur. Great mixing, excellent song placement, and some EXCLUSIVE TRACKS. The first few numbers are pretty chill house, and include a fun re-work of Shana's "I Want You" (way back from 1990), this time around performed by Sarah Mattea. Then, Roland reaches for the big guns and drops the nearly impossible-to-find Norty Cotto mix of Henri's "Some Girls", and then right into the peak hour with new remix releases from Tony Moran. The standout here has to be Tony's mix of Darren Hayes' new smash "Step Into The Light", which Tony did all on his own and still gets the magic he normally only finds when working with Warren Rigg. Though these three Moran tracks have recently been released as singles here on PB, to see them appear on a mixed compilation so soon in ascending peak order is a real treat! Roland also scores with Eddie Baez's brand new mix of Tafuri's "You Won't Ever Leave" and closing things out with fierceness on Ralphi's mix of Sun. Roland turned it out at One Mighty Party, and here as well! (B.S., 6/7/2007 see all my reviews >> )
