Average review: 3.0/5.0 (8 reviews) This compilation can actually entertain two groups. The ones who like the big room diva anthems(cd 1) and my favorite, the late-night tribal driving sounds(cd 2). Disc two blows my mind. From updated versions of "make the world go round" and "yello," to "go daddy o" and "better days" this cd is just pumpin'! It is full of rhythm, soul, and builds. I *#@! love it! (j.t., 6/19/2006 see all my reviews >> )
This is a one-word review: A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Buy it. (W.A., 6/8/2006 see all my reviews >> )
Admittedly not one of the better comps in this series. Uneven and less inspired, though it contains a few gems. (c.t., 8/10/2006 see all my reviews >> )
This was a total let-down! His other compliations seem to have more energy, focus and consistent energy. The selections seem to be B-side hits that are carelessly strung together to give you the feel of an overall mediocre party. The songs were not the truest reflection of this year's Spring Break - unless it was a boring, low-energy year which I seriously doubt. (R.T., 7/8/2006 see all my reviews >> )
I have a one word review. A-V-E-R-A-G-E. Every DJ out there has been playing these tracks and giving their demo's out for free. At lease have something new and exciting. Some of these tracks are almost a year old. (J.L., 6/8/2006 see all my reviews >> )
Last year's compilation was much better... (R.Z., 6/8/2006 see all my reviews >> )
I love Brett, but wow... I understand that Summer Party Favorites is the title, but can we put some favorites on the CD that hasn't been on EVERY damn CD you buy. Better Luck next go 'round. (DJ Justin Ryan, 6/8/2006 see all my reviews >> )
Geez....sorry to all the west coast fans, but Brett is so predictable. Give me something that is real for once. (J.S., 8/3/2006 see all my reviews >> )
