i love the remixes of this song and gioia did a get job on the vocals....the remixes here on the 1st releasings is great however i am torn between which one i like the best...in fact i think i would have liked it if both josh harris and almight worked together and mixed the song together. the radio edits are great and hop'n as well...i'm looking forword to geting the part 2 remixes.  What ever happened to the Dean Chronic Mix ? (D.W., 5/26/2008 see all my reviews >> )

This song lifting me higher too!! My fav'is "Dena Cucci Dub" but "Josh Harris Club Mix" is pretty good too!!! (Yecin, 10/20/2007 see all my reviews >> )

Hey Gioia!!! These are great upbeat mixes. I think you did a great job on these. The only way you couldn't like this is if you only like dark tribal sounds or downtempo mixes. If you rated this poorley then you can't appreciated upbeat, happy vocals. And yes Gioia is hot...and...wonderful person. THANK YOU!!!!! DJ John Larsen (J.L., 10/5/2007 see all my reviews >> )

!WOW! New music from Gioia!! It's been a long time coming but it was worth the wait!! Gioia's singing is uplifting and has a way of touching your soul. And her new single "Your Love Is Lifting Me (Higher and Higher)" is just another example of her great talent! You keep on doing what you do girl because your fans love you and will always support you!! Special thanx to Harlequin Records for recognizing true talent when they see it! Looking forward to you releasing more of Gioia's music!!! (dre.z):) (a.r., 10/3/2007 see all my reviews >> )

Gioia's "Your Love Is Lifting Me (Higher & Higher)" is one of those vocals that you can't stop singing. Gioia is deserving of some serious recognition for this track. The Almighty mix is very good, but I have to say that Josh Harris has outdone himself yet again. My spirit gets lifted when I hear this track. The Dena Cucci dub is HOT! That's all I can say. I can't wait until part 2 comes out. Gioia's got a hit on her hands with this great remake. I smell Grammy all over this one. (J.S., 9/29/2007 see all my reviews >> )

OMG - I about died when I found this on here. I am so glad it is being commercially released. I have been looking forward to supporting Gioia with her music as I have been enjoying her music as a solo artist and a group for many years. (Going Going Gone, Waterfalls, From The Inside - the list goes on and on) This is a great track and I look forward to many more from her. I would erase ten years off my life it Expose came out with some new material. Love you G !!!!! (k.f., 9/29/2007 see all my reviews >> )

IT'S ABOUT TIME! I read some of the reviews which seem like they're based on the 45 second clips! THIS CD IS OFF THE HOOK! I can't wait for Part II to come out. Aside from Gioia's kick-ass vocals, the catchy familiar tune, and the commercial remixes, we should all be thanking Gioia for staying true to us dance music fans. In a time where there's like 5 radio stations on the FM airways that play dance music in this country, she still gets out there releasing dance music which we all know doesn't sell...she did this for us--THANK YOU GIOIA! The song is so uplifting and is hopefully commercial enough for radio stations to open their formats up to more dance music and hopefully for labels to want more Gioia. You've got my support no matter what--you've earned it and continue to keep us singing and dancing. THANK YOU!!! (R.S., 9/29/2007 see all my reviews >> )

Gioia's vocals truly shine in her latest release. From her high energy to her spontaneous ad libs, her music keeps even those of us with two left feet dancing !!! Bravo Gioia !! Can't wait to hear more !!! L.H. 9/28/07 (L.H., 9/28/2007 see all my reviews >> )

Gioia Bruno is an inspiration; her vocals truly shine in this track. I can feel her passion, love, and energy as she builds this track! Gioia celebrates life through her music. Gioia is back; vocals strong and ready to go! I have played this track at several events and clubs, had requests to play "that new Gioia song" and the response has been amazing. She is a classic diva, always shining, never giving up, and fiercer than ever. Her vocals breathe new life to this classic, creating an anthem that brings excitement to listeners. this is only Part 1- i can't wait for Part 2. Great to hear her signature voice- Gioia's music is Gioia- definitve and steadfast to her soul. DJAmy (A.A., 9/27/2007 see all my reviews >> )

Gioia is turning it out and I think it "Your love is lifting me" needs a revisit. I don't think this song is getting the attention it deserves. I have never heard of her so I am assuming she is new to the scene, but I am definitely feeling the Dena Cucci Dub..Cucci Cucci Cooh! I did notice it says "Part 1" so I do hope my wish for a revisit comes true. (D.J., 11/27/2007 see all my reviews >> )

Gioia is lifting me higher and higher and higher with this one! (D.W., 10/18/2007 see all my reviews >> )

Not a bad version from the ex "Expose" singer. She looks great too. (J.Q., 10/1/2007 see all my reviews >> )

Harlequin records is stepping it up with their releases this week. Been waiting for this to be available for quite some time. Gioia looks hot and sounds hot. Can not wait to get my hands on the Dena Cucci mix! When will PB have part 2?? (R.R., 9/29/2007 see all my reviews >> )

SEXY PICTURE FOR THE COVER. Not my fave track by Gioia. Dena Cucci turns out one hot dub! (D.W., 9/27/2007 see all my reviews >> )

WHY??????? When you have an amazing voice like Gioia, why do cheesy covers? She's not doing anything exceptional here that's gonna rock the dance world. I know a ton of great song writers out there dying to get people to record their songs. Why aren't these talents putting out more new material. It costs less to put out a new song that pay royalties on an old one. Plus they have great remixers here, so why not spend the money on a new track? ARG!!!!! With that said, as much as I love Josh Harris, he's starting all the same. When I switched to the dub to see if it had any more punch, it sounds like his Killers Remixes. The Dena Cucci Dub seems quite good, but at the same times sounds like generic circuit mix #4. It's time to invent a new gay club anthem sound remixers. The circuit is dead, and these Big Room tracks down sound as good on smaller systems. They just seem to flow mindlessly one into another. It's time for some fresh musical direction in remixing and production. (M.C., 9/27/2007 see all my reviews >> )

I would agree with M.C., this is quite dissappointing. No new ground here. If you are going to cover something as recognizable as this track...do something exceptional with it. We got one ok mix by Josh Harris, an Almighty mix that sounds like (well, an Almighty mix), and a circuit mix that could be one of thousands of tracks with slighty different vocals. Gioia's talent is lost on this. DJ Mark Bisson (M.B., 9/27/2007 see all my reviews >> )

Like most other reviewers here, I am a bit disappointed by this release - not by Gioia, whose vocals are always first class, but by the song itself and these remixes, which are very mediocre, indeed. It's a real shame to waste Gioia's considerable talent on something as uninspiring as this. Too bad. (W.A., 9/27/2007 see all my reviews >> )

Love Gioia, but she could've done better. These mixes suck. (R.Z., 10/4/2007 see all my reviews >> )

Pure Crap! Those awful vocals make me want to peel layers off my face. This could have been a great dance tune that people want to hear over and over instead of never again. (R.W., 8/16/2008 see all my reviews >> )

Your love is lifting me right into my coffin and putting a stake right through my heart as your vocal goes on and on whaling and whaling. God I just want to cry! This is crap! (Randy M., 12/1/2007 see all my reviews >> )

I've always loved Gioia's voice. However, this remake and these remixes are uninspired. Josh Harris needs to start drinking more caffeine before working on his next batch of remixes. His "Club Mix" drags. In fact, the last 2 years of his remixes have been disappointing. And If Harlequin thought that Almighty's Mix was finally going to get me to buy or play one of their releases, they were terribly mistaken. (scottyB, 9/27/2007 see all my reviews >> )

Where is the Eddie Baez mix? Its far superior to these. Very disappointing!!! JA(9/27/2007) (J.S., 9/27/2007 see all my reviews >> )
