I am glad to see Claudja is back with another record. I fell in love with her with "Boogie Woogie Dancing Shoes" on Chrysalis Records in 1979 (yes, I AM that old!!!!) and again with "Down And Counting" in the 1980's.
For my tase the Sugar-Dip is the best as the song seems to work best with that mix! :) Do not get me wrong here. The other mixes are fine, but I found myself playing the Sugar-Dip club mix over and over and over. (G.G., 5/11/2006 see all my reviews >> )
DJ MB--you and I had the exact same thought. The vibe is total happy and uplifting, just like "I Am". This song will be a Pride staple for years to come. Better get it now, before it gets relegated to a shortened version on a compilation! (DJ Sean Mac, 4/20/2006 see all my reviews >> )
i also am reminded of "the rising" by taborah when i hear this! glad to see i'm in good company. i really like the song-it's nice to hear a fluffy, uplifting song[that's not about God ala Kim English or Vernessa!] (Joey Benitez, 4/20/2006 see all my reviews >> )
Nice to see Claudja Barry with a new track. She sounds great on this and the Tony/Warren Mix is a beautiful, uplifting mix. If you liked "I Am" by Taborah, you will most likely enjoy this. DJ Mark Bisson (M.B., 4/19/2006 see all my reviews >> )
